Willard Wayne Parrish, Sr., 77, of Carbon Hill, Alabama, formerly of Jasper, entered into rest Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020 at Hendrix Health and Rehab.
He was born June 27, 1943 in Lawrence County, Alabama.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 from noon-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will begin at 2 p.m. Derrick Parrish will officiate. Burial will follow in Double Springs Memorial Cemetery.
Wayne is survived by his wife Johnnie Parrish; son John “Joey” Parrish and his wife Linda; daughter Tammy Parrish and Rhonda Parrish Burton and her husband, Roger; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers Junior Parrish, Jimmy Parrish, Roger Parrish and Gabriel Parrish; sister Sue Elliott; brother-in-law Gary Wayne Robertson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Odie and Lillian Parrish; son Willard Wayne “Boob” Parrish, Jr.; grandson John Joseph “Joe Bob” Parrish, Jr.; sister Betty Lou Waldrop; and brother Bobby Parrish.
