Memorial services for Wendell Oliver Murphree, 76, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020 at Cullman Heritage Funeral. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Murphree passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2020 at his residence. He was born Saturday, May 13, 1944 to James Ollie and Katie Murphree.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson Matthew; two brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife Leasia Murphree; son Randy (Tina) Murphree; daughters Tammy (Scott) Smothers, Katie (Allen) Loyd, Lisa (Joseph) Timbs, and Lacey (Durand) Lemley; son Landon Murphree; grandchildren Kim, Josh, Kelly, Jake, Jennifer, Cassie, Jessica, Justin, Tyler, Daniel, Michael, Dawson, Lane, Daxton, and Lincoln; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters Jayne Turner and Daulene Mattox; brother Terry Murphree; and a host of nieces and nephews.
