Odis Johnson, 90, of Arab entered into rest Monday, Sept. 28, 2020 at Diversacare of Arab.
Mr. Johnson was born Dec. 21, 1929 in Madison County, Alabama. He loved to sing gospel music and go to church, and also played guitar in a quartet.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 1, 2020 from 9-11 a.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville.
Odis is survived by his sons Rickey Johnson and Jerry Johnson; grandchildren Dale Johnson, Tandalone Michelle Johnson and Jeffery Moody; four great grandchildren; and brother Floyd Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Myra Johnson; his wife Theona “Bill” Johnson; daughter Janice Fay Johnson; granddaughter Kathrine Fay Johnson; brothers Sam, Jessie and James; and sisters Fronie and Laza.
