CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman High School’s Swim Team was back in action Tuesday night and this time, the Bearcats finished ahead of Athens, Buckhorn and Gadsden City to capture an overall first place finish at the event. As individual squads, the girls won each event of the night to take the top spot and the boys finished just five points behind Buckhorn to place second. Cullman swimmers collected several individual wins throughout the night as well as some new personal records.
Girls results:
Madison Clements – 1st in 100-yard freestyle (PR), 1st in 100-yard Individual Medley (PR), 1st in 50-yard backstroke
Anna Page – 1st in 50-yard butterfly, 2nd in 100-yard Individual Medley, 2nd in 200-yard freestyle
Ruby Hudson – 1st in 200-yard freestyle, 1st in 50-yard freestyle, 1st in 50-yard breaststroke
Reese McNeel – 2nd in 50-yard backstroke, 3rd in 50-yard freestyle, 3rd in 50-yard butterfly
Anna Page, Madison Clements, Reese McNeel, Ruby Hudson – 1st in 200-yard medley relay, 1st in 200-yard freestyle relay
Boys results:
CJ Arnold – 1st in 50-yard backstroke, 2nd in 100-yard freestyle (PR), 2nd in 50-yard butterfly (PR)
Brody Schaefer – 2nd in 50-yard breaststroke, 2nd in 200-yard freestyle, 3rd in 50-yard freestyle (PR)
Chase Duncan – 2nd in 50-yard backstroke (PR)
CJ Arnold, Chase Duncan, Devon Campbell, Brody Schaefer – 1st in 200-yard freestyle relay
The Cullman High School Swim Team will be back in the water Saturday morning at the Albertville Double Dual meet.
