CULLMAN, Ala. – Preliminary damage survey results from the National Weather Service in Huntsville show two tornadoes touched down early Friday evening. The NWS reports an EF-1 in northwest Cullman County and an EF-0 in Eva.
The path of the EF-1 tornado In Cullman County was 5.56 miles long and 115 yards wide. Estimated peak winds were 87 mph. There were no fatalities or injuries.
Damage to two homes along County Road 1059 in Jones Chapel was reported.
In Morgan County, the path of the EF-0 tornado in Eva was .22 miles long and 40 yards wide. Estimated peak winds were 84 mph. There were no fatalities or injuries.
