CULLMAN, Ala. – Due to the threat of severe weather approaching the area Friday night, city schools will be releasing students at 1:30 p.m. and Cullman’s home opener against the Jasper Vikings has been rescheduled for Saturday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. Due to the change, Cullman High School announced that there will be no cash gates at Saturday’s game. The game will only be accessible to pre-purchased ticket holders. Senior recognitions will be held at 10:30 just before kickoff.
Saturday’s meeting will be the 72nd between Cullman and Jasper. The Vikings lead the all-time series 35-34-2 and the two teams have split their last two matchups by a combined three points. Check back for more game information as it is released.
