Daniel Sweatmon, 89, of Cullman passed away Aug. 11, 2020. He was born March 5, 1931, in Blount County to Daniel and Emma Yancey Sweatmon.
Mr. Sweatmon loved to garden. He was an assembly worker, working for Americold for many years until his retirement, and also served our country honorable in the United States Army.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Emma Yancey Sweatmon and his son Danny Ray Sweatmon.
He is survived by his wife Geraldine R. Sweatmon; daughter Peggy Bates (Perry); stepson Micky Cornelius (Darlene); five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. at New Hope #2 Cemetery.
