Funeral services for William Omer Barbee, 68, of Vinemont will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Flint Creek Cemetery; Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Barbee passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Hanceville Health & Rehab. He was born May 7, 1952 to Robert and Ophelia Nebraska Smith.
He was a former Sunday School teacher and was a member of Flint Creek Baptist Church. He loved antique car shows and antiquing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles Barbee.
Survivors include his wife Dianne Barbee; son Keith Barbee; step-son Tony (Jennifer) Jackson; grandchildren Josh (Heather) Barbee, Frankie Barbee, Amy (Tray) Dunn, and Amber Jackson; great-granddaughters Bolyn Dunn, Genesis Barbee, and Brianna Barbee; sisters Mary Lou Plemons, Linda Sue Hyatt, and Faye Hyatt; brothers Dewy Ray (Jenny) Barbee, Terry (Karen) Barbee, and Jerry (Nell) Barbee; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday at the funeral home from noon-2 p.m.
