SOUTH VINEMONT, Ala. – JoAnn Oakley on Monday announced her re-election bid for South Vinemont Town Council, place 1. The Municipal Election will take place Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020.

JoAnn Howard Oakley announces her re-election bid for South Vinemont Town Council, place 1. The municipal election will take place Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020.
Mrs. Oakley grew up in the town of South Vinemont. She was married to Joseph M. Oakley in 1956. Together, they built their home and raised their two children in this community.
Mrs. Oakley has had the honor of serving several terms for the town of South Vinemont. She has also held the position of mayor pro tem for the last two terms. During her terms, she has been involved in numerous projects that have benefited the South Vinemont community. She is especially proud of the town’s ballpark and the revenue it generates for South Vinemont, while allowing a nice place for our children and youth to play.
Mrs. Oakley said, “I would be honored to serve the town of South Vinemont for another term. I love our community and would like to be involved in seeing it continue to grow and improve.”
