Graveside services for Mr. Gilbert Olen Cook, 78, of Eva will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2020 at Eidson Chapel Presbyterian Church. Reverend Steve Rodgers will officiate the service. Mr. Cook passed away Friday, July 17 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He was born Jan. 30, 1942 to Thomas Louis and Pearl Austell Morland Cook.
Mr. Cook is preceded in death by his parents; brother Pat Cook; sister Ima Lee Cook; grandchild Augustea Bolden; and son Jeff Cook.
He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Stella Cook; son Jimmy Cook; daughters Judy Cook and Jackie Cook; brothers Wallace (Dean) Cook, Earl (Joan) Cook, Gordon (Carol) Cook, and Louis (Martha) Cook; sisters Muriel (Leon) Humphrey and Mara Nell (John) Bradley; and a host of family and friends.
He was a good husband, father, and a hard worker and helped anyone that needed help.
