Huston Edward Bryan, 76, of Muscle Shoals, formerly of the Sardis community, entered into rest Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield.
Huston was born Nov. 8, 1943 in Cullman County, Alabama. He was a longtime member of Sardis Baptist Church No. 2. He loved watermelon, whittling and watching “Gunsmoke.”
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. Reverends Ricky Bartlett, Chris Bartlett and Keith Bryan will officiate. Burial will follow in Sardis Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery.
Huston is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Bryan; sons Kenneth Bryan and Keith Bryan and his wife Lisa; grandchildren Kaleb (Heather) Bryan, Jill Bryan, Korey (Sha Jackson) Bryan, Nic Bryan, Emily Bryan, Khloe Bryan, Justin Orrick and Madison Orrick; great-grandchildren Lynleigh Bryan, Abram Blakemore, Brantley Bryan, Emerie Bryan and Kohl Bryan; brother Wayne (Nancy) Bryan; sister Orlene Bartlett; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Alma Bryan; daughter-in-law Sharon Bryan; grandson Isaiah Bryan; and siblings Calvin, Alvin, Chamlus, Charlie, Doc, Ara, Marynell, and Grace.
