CHOCTAW, Miss. – On Sunday afternoon, 2009 Cullman High School graduate and student athlete Blaise Wilson tied for first place in the Emerald Coast Golf Tour stop at Dancing Rabbit Golf Club/Pearl River Resort in Choctaw, Mississippi. Over three days, Wilson shot rounds of 65, 68 and 67, matching the overall 200 shot by Valley, Alabama’s Jacob Harper. The two pros walked away from the event with $3,600 each in winnings.

Wilson told The Tribune, “It is another winning step towards my final goal. The total score of 200 shattered the scoring record at that tournament. So my game is heading in the correct direction as my season continues.”

Proud mother Ashley Wilson said, “I am extremely proud of Blaise. I have seen the hard work and dedication he has poured into making his dreams come true.”
