CULLMAN, Ala. – The Fillin’ Station, a popular meat-and-three deli located inside the Texaco Station at 201 Second Ave. NW (U.S. Highway 31), has closed, its owners announced this week.

Mick and Pam Whitt said in a media release, “After looking at numerous different options, owners Mick and Pam Whitt have decided to downsize and simplify. Our landlord has decided to occupy the building and has (asked) us to vacate by June 30. We wish nothing but the best for any future endeavors.”

The Whitts expressed their gratitude to their customers and employees “for the tremendous amount of loyalty and support (sic) received over the last two years of operations,” advising everyone, “Stay tuned to (the) @thetexacofillinstation Facebook page for what’s next!”
