Funeral services for James Stanley Thompson, 66, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Redemption Church with Rodney Thompson officiating; interment in Good Hope Cemetery. He will lie-in-state from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thompson passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Oct. 5, 1953 to Ulysses and Louise Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Franklin Cleghorn.
Survivors include his wife JoAnn Thompson; daughter Pam (Scott) Warren; son Rodney (Rachel) Thompson; grandchildren Kaleb (Callie) Estill, Kody Estill, Isaac (Kaiya) Warren, Hannah Warren (Jacob Bailey), Dylan (Shyanne) Casewell, Chloe Thompson, and Kaden Thompson; mother-in-law Mava Jean Cleghorn; sisters Brenda Brown and Linda Swindall; brothers Rusty Thompson and Steve Thompson; and special healthcare workers Courtney Mann and Ashley Taylor.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
