Funeral services for Charles H. Loyd, 67, of Eva will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in the chapel of Hanceville Funeral Home with Brother Matt Colburn officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery. His family will receive friends Tuesday evening beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. (Please follow social distancing recommendations).
Charles died June 1 at his residence after an extended illness.
The son of the late Howard and Azzlee Holmes Loyd was a truck driver.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by son Wayne Loyd and sisters Margaret and Patricia, as well as his step-father Orvil Owens.
Surviving are sons Charles (Michelle) Loyd and Christopher (Tammy) Loyd, both of Holly Pond, and daughter Wanda (Tim) Nash of Eva. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; fiancé Linda Brooks; step-daughter Tiffany Brooks; sister Dorothy King; and brothers Anthony, Stevie and Timmy Owens.
