Brownie Mae Crews, 86, of Haleyville passed away Thursday, May 28, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 27, 1934 to Presley Leon and Icy Jane Lawler. Brownie was a retired seamstress for the Haleyville Drapery.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 31, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 4 p.m. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery, Hackleburg. Pastor Mark Fell, Pastor Dewayne Smith, and Pastor Eric Crews will officiate the service.
Brownie is survived by her daughters Lesa (Chris) Tinney and Judith Buckner; son Randal Crews; sister Ava Jones; grandchildren Eric (Katie) Crews, Ryan Buckner, Amy (Nick) Gilpin, Nikki Cummings, and Blake Morris; and great-grandchildren Rylan Buckner, Isabella Gilpin, Kairi, and Asher.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Icy Kennedy-Lawler; son Ricky Crews; sisters Mary Mitchell and Alma Woodruff; and brothers, Ottis, Ollie, Oscar, and Presley Bee Lawler.
