Graveside services for James Edward Holmes, Sr., 59, of Eva will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Gum Pond Cemetery with Dan Hopper officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Holmes passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Cullman Regional. He was born Dec. 25, 1960 to Royal Cephus and Mary Lucy Jane Holmes. He was a part of the United Cherokee Ani-Yun-Wiva Nation.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Aubrey Holmes; and two brothers.
Survivors include his sons Matt (Teresa) Holmes and Ed (Faith) Holmes; daughter Amber Griffin; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers; and two sisters.
Family visitation will be from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
