Funeral services for William “Allen” Kretzschmar, 89, of Harvest, Alabama will be at noon Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Hanceville Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Garden City Cemetery. Reverend Trueman Davis will be officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon May 21, 2020 prior to the service at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mr. Kretzschmar is survived by his children Mike (Donna) Kretzschmar, Randall (Gail) Kretzschmar, and Nina (David) Lawrence; grandchildren Beth (Matt) Swindle, Michaela (Jason) Keel, Dustin Kretzschmar, Kelley Kretzschmar, Jeremy (Georgia) Lawrence, Geoff (Polly) Johnson, and Brandi (Michael) Jewell; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; sister Betty Kretzschmar; and brothers Ray Kretzschmar and Wayne Kretzschmar.
Mr. Kretzschmar is preceded in death by his wife Vera (Carr) Kretzschmar; sisters Geraldine Kretzschmar and Kathleen Kretzschmar; and parents Otto and Montel (Harris) Kretzschmar.
