CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman City Schools Superintendent Dr. Susan Patterson on Friday afternoon said Cullman High School will have an in-person graduation ceremony May 22. The move comes as Gov. Kay Ivey loosened restrictions earlier Friday on social gatherings, lifting the 10-person-or-fewer rule as of May 11, 2020.
“We are pleased to announce Cullman High School’s 108th commencement ceremony at Oliver Woodard Stadium on May 22, 2020 at 7 p.m.,” Patterson said in a statement. “We will release details regarding procedures to be followed to adhere to social distancing guidelines at a later time. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be on May 23, 2020 at 7 p.m. We are excited to have this opportunity to celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2020.”
