“A little over a month ago, life was a lot of fun, as we were practicing 2-3 days a week to prepare for two huge ‘Hee-Haw’ shows which were a big success. Then the wheel ran off and COVID-19 virus started. We went from being able to come and go as we pleased to sitting at home looking for things to do. Although a lot of folks are running up and down the road, we have chosen to stay at home and spend time together and get things done around our house. Our daily activities consist of sitting out on our deck, enjoying the beauty of the Lord, listening to the birds flying, planting flowers and shrubs to getting our travel trailer ready to venture out to different campgrounds for camping to do some R&R (rest and relaxation). We also love spending time with Sugar, our Jack Russell, We, along with everyone else, will be glad when this is all over so we all can get back to our everyday living. However, this is all in the Lord’s hands. We hope everyone stays safe. Wash your hands and stay away from large crowds. We love you all.”

“During this time of pandemic, we have all had to change our lifestyle a bit. Although I’ve missed seeing my friends and going places, I’m enjoying being home. My husband Huey and I bought a new home in November, so we’ve had a chance to get it fixed up like we want it. And we’ve been working outside in our yard. We’ve had some beautiful weather for this. Also, I’ve had a chance to work on my hobbies such as jewelry making and painting pictures (although I’ve missed my painting class). I’m doing some sewing making face masks.  While practicing social distancing we have taken some time to go hiking, visiting some waterfalls, riding my bicycle, walking and enjoying the great outdoors. Reflecting on all the God has given us. I know this has been a difficult time for everyone. But hopefully things we get better and we can all get back together soon.”
