James “Lamar” Smith, 48, passed away March 31, 2020. He was born Sept. 16, 1971 to James Douglas and Essie Mae Turney Smith in Morgan County, Alabama, but lived in Cullman County most of his life.
Cullman Funeral Home is honored to be ministering to the Smith family.
Lamar was preceded in death by his mother Essie Mae Turney Smith
He is survived by his wife Megan Curtis Smith; son Cody James Smith; step-son Chace Barrett; father James (Angie) Smith; siblings Lucinda Brown, Angela Johnson, and Kevin Everett; Nana Sherron Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
There will be no formal service at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
