A private graveside service for William Randall “Randy” Wilkins, 60, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wilkins passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Dec. 2, 1959 in Cullman, AL to Bertis and Miriam Wilkins.
Randy answered his true calling in life, serving as an educator of Agri-Science at Arab High School and Holly Pond High School for a combined total of over 30 years. Proclaimed by many former students as having a large positive impact both inside and outside of the classroom, Randy always rejoiced in the accomplishments of former students, cherishing their friendships.
Most importantly, Randy was a servant of the Lord. Randy was a proud believer, raising his family in a Christian home, and leading his children to have relationships with the Lord Jesus Christ. A firm believer in the Church, Randy was a loyal servant to Antioch Baptist Church for the bulk of his life.
Randy’s true joy in life was undoubtedly his family. In addition to being an adoring husband to his wife Pam for 34 years, he was also a tremendous role model and provider for his two children. Perhaps his most favorite title later in life was Papa to his granddaughter, Stella. Although taken too early, Randy lived a full life and made a remarkably positive impact on all those he touched. Randy will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Karen Wilkins.
Survivors include his wife Pam Wilkins; daughter Ashley (Ross) Henderson; son Corey (Kallie) Wilkins; grandchild Stella Henderson; two grandchildren on the way, Baby Wilkins due in April and Baby Henderson due in September; brother Charles (Barbara) Wilkins; sister Elaine (Chris) Edwards; sister Dianne Faye; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Randy Wilkins Memorial Scholarship Fund at Merchants Bank of Alabama. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a student at Holly Pond High School who desires to pursue a degree in the Agriculture field.
An additional service of the celebration of Randy’s life will be held at a later date for all to attend.
