Obituary: Esther Glaser Kidd Williams

A private family graveside service for Esther Glaser Kidd Williams, 100, of Cullman was at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Cullman City Cemetery, Rev. John Bussman and Rev. Christopher Clark officiating.

Cullman Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Williams passed away Friday, March 27, 2020.  She was born Dec. 9, 1919 to Alfred R. and Anna Belle Allison Glaser.  She was the oldest member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  She loved children and taught Pre-First Grade there for eight years.

She loved gardening.  She believed in what her mother said, “I may wear out, but I’ll never rust out!”

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Bernard L. Kidd and E. Mason Williams; and brothers and sisters Alfred R. Glaser, Edward C. Glaser, Rosa E. Lee, Ruth M. Reid, and Anna Sue Dean.

Survivors include her daughter Patricia Kidd Teague; sister Marjorie F. Kreps; granddaughter Allison Lynn (Paul) Keller; honorary grandson Joshua L. Teague; family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any local hospice.
