CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Child Development Center (CDC) will host a services learning lab March 20, 2020 for parents and guardians of special needs students eighth grade and up. Participants will meet representatives of Vocational Rehabilitation, Cullman County Center for the Developmentally Disabled/Margaret Jean Jones Center and Flourish of Cullman, and learn more about the services provided by each organization through presentations and an open question and answer session.
The lab will take place in the CDC gym from 12:30-2 p.m.
In a note to The Tribune, Principal Chris Chambers wrote, “The Cullman County Child Development Center is hosting this Learning Lab to help connect service providers and updated information to those that are in need. Meeting this need fulfills one of the many purposes that the CDC staff strives for each day. This meeting will provide tools to planning for the future to connect services to families.
“We want to thank those that are helping us make this possible: Margaret Jean Jones Center, Vocational Rehabilitation, Flourish of Cullman, various local and social media.”
