CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman Rotary Club will host the 47th Annual Rotary Club Auction this Friday, March 13 at Christ Hall at St. John’s Evangelical Church. The event will kick off at 4:30 p.m. with viewing of the auction items. A silent auction will follow from 5:30-6:35 p.m. The live auction will begin at 6:45 p.m.

“We are looking forward to a great auction this year,” said Rotary Fundraising Chairman Eli Howard. “Our goal is to raise more than $50,000 for community projects. Each year our local businesses, industries and individuals generously donate auction items to help us raise money for projects here in our community. Admission is free and our auction includes various household items, personal and business items ranging from small items to larger items. We also have raffle tickets for a Glock 9mm handgun and for a $500 cash prize.”

“Rotarians work hard to make the auction a success each year. It’s our only fundraiser of the year and we are so thankful for all the support that we receive from the community,” Rotary Club President Will Harding said. “It really makes us proud to see Cullman Rotary Club and our community working together to make the auction such a success. The proceeds go to support community projects that truly impact our community.”

St. John’s Evangelical Church is located at 512 Second Ave. SE, Cullman, AL 35055.
