Ray Camp, 87, of Haleyville passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Hendrix Healthcare and Rehab in Double Springs.

Ray was born July 3, 1932 in Franklin County, Alabama to Alvin and Ethyl Camp.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 9, 2020 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville from 6-8 p.m. where service will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 11 a.m. Brother Joseph Martin will officiate.

Ray is survived by his wife Clytee Baccus Camp; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and daughter-in-law Shirley Camp.

He was preceded in death by his late wife Vernell Camp; children Ethelene Camp Cantrell and Michael Camp; parents Alvin and Ethyl Camp; sisters Lorene Pinkard, Elsie Harrison, Olene Campbell, Cora Mae Burleson, Violet Loretta Joyce, and Opal Teal; brothers Loyd Camp, Etridge Camp, J.B. Camp, Farris Camp, Vernon Camp, and Milford Camp; and son-in-law Cecil Cantrell.
