Rice Town news listed several people who attended the decoration at Hopewell on the third Sunday in May, including: Paul Gardner, Lewis Mayfield and the Reid family.

Miss Ruth Jones was laid to rest at Sulphur Springs Cemetery on Monday at 11:30.

Mr. and Mrs. Mack Howell were the guests of Will Rice on Sunday.

Reverend John Linton will preach at Mount Nebo on Sunday.

Brickyard News gave Miss Addie Johnson as being the guest of Annie May Thompson.

Grace and Ruth Bradford went to Center Hill on Sunday.

Mr. Jack Morrow and wife gave a birthday dinner Sunday and invited his many friends to dine with them.

Edgar and Annie Mae Thompson and Addie Johnson were the guests of Earline Brandon on Saturday night.

Barney and Misses Alma and Ruth Chandler visited their grandparents in Cullman on Friday night. They reside at Route Four Cullman.

Little Evelyn Vann is spending several days in Hanceville this week visiting her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Thom.

Windfield Leeth, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Scott Leeth, is a member of the graduating class of Columbia Military Academy this year.

Mrs. Belle Culpepper left Sunday for Columbia, where she will be present at the military academy graduation of her son, Wallace Culpepper.

Miss Ruth Fuller has returned home from Marion, where she spent the last year in school at Judson College.

Those qualified in the April examination 1920 for teaching positions in Cullman County were: W. Loggins, Georgie Thomas, Lila Montez Trimble, Oscar Weeks and Joseph Yeager. Third grade: Ora Leona Bailey, Wanda G. Burks, Mrs. Ida Dean, Maud Harris, Thelma Hawkins, Mrs. Ethel D. Leak, Nellie Livingston Cara McCombs, Martha Parsons, Marion F. Pierce, Mrs. Willie Pylant, James Ryan and Kittiemae Speigle.

Miss Maud Hulsey was at the decoration at Mount Vernon.

Mr. C. Burkart and little daughter, Marguerite and little grandson, James McNutt have returned home from Orange Beach.

Mr. Ernest Voight of Birmingham spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theo Voight.

Mrs. Margaret Clapp of Guntersville is the guest of relatives in Hanceville.
