Mrs. Theolene Griffith Linton, 98, of Vinemont, Alabama passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2020 at Woodland Village Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 19, 1921 in Hanceville, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Linton; son James R. (Bobby) Linton; parents J.J. and Pearl (Murray) Griffith; and sister Faye Griffith Hornsby.
Mrs. Linton is survived by her daughter Dr. Jane Linton Teeter; daughter-in-law Ernestine Foster Linton; and brother-in-law James Hornsby; grandchildren Brent (Sue) Teeter, Emily (Heath) Holcomb, and Dr. Ashley (Max) Manos; and great-grandchildren Riley Teeter, Jacob Teeter, Hillary Holcomb, Kyle Kilpatrick, Paige Holcomb, Zoe Holcomb, Jett Manos, Max Manos, and Molly Manos.
A graveside service for Mrs. Linton will be held Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Vinemont Baptist Church Cemetery, Vinemont, AL.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering at Vinemont Baptist Church, P.O. Box 835, Vinemont, AL 35179.
