Cullman residents charged with selling meth

CULLMAN, Ala. – A man and a woman from Cullman were arrested recently for allegedly selling methamphetamine.

The Cullman Police Department Crime Suppression Unit (CSU), along with the Northeast Alabama State Drug Task Force, arrested Christopher Wayne Sterling and Tanya Lynn Johnson, according to media release from the CPD.

Johnson is charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, attempting to commit a controlled substance crime and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sterling is charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

These arrests stemmed from multiple incidents, said the release.

Johnson and Sterling were booked into the Cullman County Detention Center and have made bond.
