Charles Lee Tuggle, 81, of Double Springs entered into rest Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020 at his residence.
He was born June 24, 1938 in Cordova, Alabama and lived most of his life in Forestdale. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and retired as a metallurgical engineer at ACIPCO. He was a member of Corinth Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020 from 10 a.m.-noon at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will start at noon. Burial will follow in Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper.
Charles is survived by his wife Dorothy Ann Davis Tuggle; son Chuck (Karen) Tuggle; daughters Cynthia (Jim) Thomas and Cathy (Tony) Maple; grandchildren Joseph Tuggle, Chase Tuggle, Cate Thomas, Blake Thomas, Austin Thomas, Cory Davis, Molly Maple and Jesilyn Maple; and sisters Dorothy Jones and Jean Sampieri.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carlos Eugene Tuggle and Minerva Jane Key Tuggle; brother Carlos Tuggle, Jr. and sister Sarah Louise Tuggle.
