Funeral services for Barbara Jean Carden, 90, of Hanceville, Alabama will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2020 at Hanceville Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Fairview West Cemetery located in Hanceville. The family will welcome guests for a visitation beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020 at Hanceville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carden is the daughter of the late Walter Thomas and Martha (Mickle) Spinks.
Mrs. Carden is survived by her children Gary Wayne “Butch” Sullins, Joseph Alan Sullins, and Karen Diane (Greg) Young; step-children Ann Conn, Kaye Smith, Tina Clements, and Gail Carden; brother Jackie Spinks; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carden is also preceded in death by her husband James E. Carden and step-son Ricky Carden.
