Funeral services for Mary Temple Baker Aycock, 84, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home, officiated by Jimmy Howard; interment in Bethsadia Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Aycock passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 at her residence. She was born Oct. 27, 1935 to Aro and Grace Baker.
She was a member of Prospect Church of Christ for many years. She owned and operated Bigmomma’s Day Care in Tarrant, AL for 13 years, and she is still loved by many of the children for whom she cared who have now become adults. They, like her own grandchildren, called her Bigmomma. She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Tennis Baker, Lane Baker, and Ross Baker; and sisters, Rose Puckett and Averine Nix.
Survivors include her husband Charles B. Aycock; daughters Tina (Dewayne) Stansell and Telisa McMillan; son Dwayne Henderson; grandchildren Rodney (Dody) McMillan, Mendy (Nathan) Stansell, Mitchell (Elaine) Henderson, Tandi Dickey (Jeremy) Rakestraw, Kevin (Misty) Henderson, Chad (Whitney) Trammell, and Tori Stansell; great-grandchildren C.J. Dickey, Mary Grace Dickey, Oakley Henderson, Chloe Henderson, Evan Stansell, Carlee Trammell, and Hunter Trammell; brothers Eugene Baker and Arlon Baker; sister Vonda Anderson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
