Maudie Paralee Barton, 90, of Lynn passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020 at her residence.
Maudie was born Sept. 16, 1929 to McKinley and Laurie Vanderford.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 at the Nichols Funeral Home chapel in Haleyville, from noon-2 p.m., where services will be held at 2 p.m. Pastor Gary Wakefield will officiate.
Maudie is survived by her son Robert Earl Barton; daughter Annette Barton; grandchildren Danny W. Barton, Michelle (Micheal) Simmons, Jenna (John) Dodd, Carrie Thurman, Bobby, Kenny, Robbie, and Pam Barton, and B.J. Williams; and great-grandchildren Amanda Barton, Noah Simmons, David, Bryson, Levi, Delaine, Makenna, Kellin, Tyler, Tessa, Savannah, MaKayla, Devonta, Chris, and Shahid.
She was preceded in death by her father McKinley Vanderford; mother Laurie Ann Vanderford; husband James T. Barton; brothers Tom Vanderford, Fred Vanderford, Ed Vanderford, and Bill Vanderford; daughter Janet Barber; son Douglas Barton; son-in-law Danny Barton; and daughter-in-law Reba Faye Barton.
