Yvetta Rose Strobel, 95, of Haleyville, Alabama entered into rest Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019.
Mrs. Strobel was born April 2, 1924 in Chester, Illinois. She enjoyed bingo and going to auctions.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana, where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Hobart, Indiana.
Yvetta is survived by daughters Norma Baker, Dorothy (Gene) Nelson and Mary (Lee) Simpson; grandchildren Robert (Debbie) Gallup, Linda Hunt, Raymond Lane, Carolyn Hasty, Rose (Chris) Hyde, Betty (Gary) Taylor, Terrie Garcia, Jerry Nelson and Carrie Cabello; 21 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents Fred Daniel and Rose Mary Guitar Faverty; husband Everett Richard Strobel; grandchildren Richard Lee Gray, Eugene Nelson and Mary Nelson; sisters Laura Rowold, Viola Knoke and Luquita May Weaver; and brothers Charles Faverty, Leonard Faverty and Robert Faverty.
