Mr. Larry Joe Simmons of Vinemont, Alabama passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019.
He was born March 9, 1948 to Price Doc and Mary Irene Brown Simmons who preceded him in death along with sister Shirley McKoy and brother Hubert Simmons.
Mr. Simmons leaves to cherish his memory his wife Shirley Faye Wix; daughters Tina Carroll, Sandra Brown, April Whitehead, Betty Tucker, Sherry Echols and Brenda (Darrell) Waldrop; son Eddie Yates; sisters Gail (Dalton) Hooper and Patsy (Leroy) Jones; brothers Charles Edward (Sherrie) Simmons and Hoyt Simmons; and several dearly loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Simmons will be Sunday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. with a celebration of his life to follow. Interment will be after the services at Springhill Cemetery.
