Funeral services for Margie Ellen Nix of Baileyton will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bishop James Arthur Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Baptist Cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Nix went to be with the Lord Dec. 17, 2019 at the age of 86.
She was born Nov. 18, 1933 to Garland Horace Deerman and Marguretta Hesly Evans.
Mrs. Nix was preceded in death by parents Garland Horace Deerman and Marguretta Hesly Evans; husband Willie J. Nix; son Ronald Eugene Nix; brother Roger Deerman; and sisters Katie Conner and Roxie Deerman.
She is survived by her daughters Marsha (Greg) Dube, Fredia (Thomas) Critz andTheresa Diane Carroll; grandchildren Elizabeth, Olivia, Josh, Dillion, Jessica, Melissa, Kathy, Tammy and Robert; several great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
