CULLMAN, Ala. – A Cullman County jury on Wednesday found Jason Allen McCurry, 41, of Russellville not guilty on all charges in a 2016 sex abuse case involving a child younger than 12.

McCurry was indicted in October 2016 on charges of sexual abuse of a child under 12, first-degree sodomy and enticing a child for immoral purposes, all felonies, for incidents authorities alleged occurred prior to the alleged victim’s 12th birthday in 2015.

Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) investigators arrested McCurry after an investigation that began when McCurry’s alleged victim came forward and reported the incident to the CCSO. He was indicted by a grand jury a short time later.

No further details of the trial were immediately available.
