Raymond Jaye Rampley, 77, of Double Springs entered into rest Monday, Dec. 16, 2019 at his residence.
Raymond was born April 27, 1942 in Rome, Georgia.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019 from noon-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Houston Community Cemetery. Brother Bobby Smith and Brother Darrel Chamblis will officiate.
Raymond is survived by his wife Loaine Rampley; sons Jaye (Melinda) Rampley, Ray (Felecia) Rampley, Steve (Susie) Rampley, Kim (Tammy) Miller and Tim (Rhonda) Miller; daughters Wanda (Thomas) Curtis and Jessica (Larry) Bowens; sister Barbara McElwaney; brother Ralph (B.J.) Rampley; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Louise Jones; dad Sampy Jones; father Zack Rampley; brother Ben Rampley; sisters Mary Rampley, Ethel Middlebrooks and Syvle Smith; and great-granddaughter Zoey Rayes.
