Mrs. Baker passed away Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 at her residence.
She was born Feb. 18, 1928 to Oscar Douglas and Mary Belle White Sexton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons Shannon Baker and Michael Carter; daughter Freddie Gibson; and sister Wanda Jeffers.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years Ottis Baker; son Jeffery Baker; daughters Katrina (Ruel) Phillips, Shelley (Robert) Kaufman, and Jody Baker; brothers Fred (Sue) Sexton, Jimmy Sexton and David (Rita) Sexton; sister Myrna Baker; grandchildren Ferah (Grant) Tatum, Monica (Steve) Thomas, Andrea Phillips, Jennifer Kaufman, Matthew (Rachel) Kaufman, Rachael Kaufman, Melody Kaufman, Jon (Kimi) Johnson, Chris Gibson, Tracy (Rick) Ring, Jackie (Brent) Brandal, Chasa (John) Fulkerson and Zachary Parvin; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; numerous family and friends and a large church family.
