MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. – A Cullman County man was arrested in Morgan County Monday, charged with two counts of first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sodomy involving a victim younger than 12.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) announced the arrest of Christopher Scott Martin, 40, Tuesday.
The MCSO said in a Facebook post (unedited): “On Monday, December 2, 2019, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office Investigators executed a Felony Warrant for the arrest of Christopher Scott Martin, 40 of Cullman County, charged with 2 counts of 1st Degree Rape and 2 counts of 1st Degree Sodomy. The arrest stems from events in the Eva area of Morgan County involving a victim under the age of 12.”
Martin was booked into the Morgan County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
