Andy Harris, 81, of Tuscaloosa entered in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019. He was born July 11, 1938 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mr. Harris was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Army. He was a salesman by trade and worked hard to provide for his family. Andy was also a member of First Baptist Church of Cullman.
Mr. Harris is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Virginia Curnutt Hudgins; daughter Kimberly Ann Sapaugh; and brother Michael Tussy Harris.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Barnett Harris; son Andrew Michael Harris; grandchildren April Marie Zark, Sarah Lucille Zaldivar and great-grandchildren Aidan Nicholas Zark, Gavin Alexander Zark, Athena Claire Zaldivar and Kenichi Luis Zaldivar.
Funeral services for Mr. Harris were Monday, Dec. 2 2019 in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Duck River Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in memory of Andy Harris to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
