HANCEVILLE, Ala. – A Christmas tradition, the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament is again offering free wagon rides in December. See the tranquil grounds of the Shrine from a wagon drawn by genuine draft horses.
Rides will be offered from Dec. 14-28, and the Shrine will begin taking reservations for them Monday, Dec. 2. To reserve a ride, contact the Shrine at 256-787-4121. The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament is located at 3224 County Road 548, Hanceville, AL 35077.
Rides will be available on the following dates:
- Dec. 14 from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-5 p.m.
- Dec. 16-20 from 1-5 p.m.
- Dec. 21 (Part of the Shrine’s Christmas Open House) from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-7 p.m.
- Dec. 23 from 1-5 p.m.
- Dec. 27 from 1-5 p.m.
- Dec. 28 from 10-11:30 a.m. and 1-5 p.m.
There will be no rides on Dec. 15, 22 or 24-26.
