Virginia Mae Ruby, 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep following a short illness Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 in her home in Hackleburg, Alabama.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at noon at New Hope at Mt. Ebron Church. Casual dress requested.
Virginia was preceded in death by her mother Ramona Schultz, of Rockford, Illinois and her father William Schultz of Argonne, Wisconsin as well as her beloved sister, Darlene Lincoln-Strom.
Mrs. Ruby is survived by her brother George Schultz of Argonne, Wisconsin; sisters Cheryl Lincoln of Laona, Wisconsin, and Beverly Tallacksen of New Hope, Alabama; and brother Robert Schultz of Double Springs, Alabama. She is also survived by her children Charles Kreuser of West Hollywood, California; Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) T. L. Kreuser of Clarksville, Tennessee and Tina Mae Kreuser of Wausau, Wisconsin. She had seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was always a free spirit, fiercely independent and wild, but faithfully loyal and gentle and loving to all living people and creatures.
