Jean Denson Milligan of Hanceville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019.
She was born Dec. 23, 1938 to Isaac and Ruth Hendrix Denson in Hanceville. She later married Ferrell Amon Milligan and together they had two children, Shelia and Jimmy.
Mrs. Milligan’s parents preceded her in death along with her sister Helen Bowie and brother Howard Denson.
Survivors include her husband Ferrell Amon Milligan, daughter Shelia Fuller, son Jimmy Milligan, granddaughters Shannon (Russell) Smith and Laura (Matt) Wimberly, grandson Kyle Story, and great-grandchildren Mallory and Bridget Buffington, Tanner and Dylan Smith, Parker and Maddox Story, McKarlie, Lucie and Mattie Wimberly.
Visitation for Mrs. Milligan will be Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 from 1-2 p.m. with a celebration of her life to follow. Reverend John McKoy from St. John’s Baptist Church in Hanceville will be officiating the service and interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery.
