CULLMAN, Ala. – Westminster Assisted Living will have a community yard sale Monday, Nov. 4 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The money raised will benefit the activities fund for residents of the assisted living and memory care halls.
“Activities include arts, crafts, games, birthdays and other activity supplies,” said Activities Director Ashley Uptagrafft. “We also hope to get funding for outings so that residents won’t be responsible for having to pay for transportation or entrance fees.”
The community yard sale will be set up in the facility’s side parking lot facing Main Street next to the Olive Street intersection. Westminster is located at 1020 Olive St.
Uptagrafft added, “Community outreach is very important to our seniors. They really enjoy seeing visitors. If anyone with a special talent or a helpful hand wants to come volunteer their time with us, we would be happy to hear from them.”
