Donald Wayne Harden, 69, of the Helicon community entered into rest Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019 at his home.
Mr. Harden was born Nov. 14, 1949.
He graduated from Meek High School in 1969 and worked for American Trim for 39 years. He was a member of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and a member of Liberty Baptist Church for 52 years.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. He will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019 at Liberty Baptist Church, where the service will follow at 2 p.m. Brother Greg Dollar will officiate. Burial will follow in adjoining cemetery.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anita Aaron Harden; daughter, Christy Harden (Brian James) Waters; Micheal Harden (Shelley Hagan); Rida (Mack) Brannon; he was Paw Paw to two grandchildren, Katie Nicole Waters and Colton James Waters and special niece, Stacey (Louie) Manasco.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Geneva Harden.
