Geraldine “Jerri” McKissack Persall passed away Oct. 4, 2019 at the age of 77.
She was born March 2, 1942 in Cullman, Alabama to Hubert and Tressie Wren McKissack.
Jerri graduated from West Point High School in Cullman in 1960. She worked as an executive assistant to the Alabama State Superintendent of Education and she also worked at UAB.
Funeral services are Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel in Cullman, Alabama. Rev. Perry Knight will officiate the service. Interment will be in Cullman City Cemetery.
Survivors are husband J. Maurice Persall of Vestavia, AL; daughter Tiffany Renea Persall of Vestavia, AL; son Wesley (Alexis) Persall of Cape Canaveral, FL; sisters Melba Walker of Cullman and Doris Rusk of Cullman; and grandchildren Giovani and Wren James Persall.
Visitation is Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019 at Moss Funeral Home from 1:30-3 p.m.
