Christopher James “Chris” Carden, 49, of Arley, entered into rest on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Carden was born Nov. 22, 1969. Chris enjoyed dirt track racing, hunting and Alabama football. His favorite Saturday night saying was, “Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner”.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. The funeral service will be Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Chris is survived by his wife of 19 years, Donna Rose Carden; son, Jacob Carden; daughters: Haley (Andy Ball) Carden, Sabrina (Jeff) Phillips and Heather (Jason) Phillips; brother, Michael (Beverly) Carden; sisters: Pam (Eric) Sullins, Becky (Rodney) Russell and Lisa Wise; he was PawPaw to eight grandchildren: Bryan Phillips, Makenzie Phillips, Makayla Phillips, Cooper Carden, Samantha Phillips, Jordan Phillips, Ethan Phillips, Hannah Phillips and one granddaughter on the way.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Wesley Carden and mother, Iva Jean Carden.
