Bobby Jack Fuller, 81, of Haleyville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham.
He was born Dec. 13, 1937.
Mr. Fuller was born on Dec. 13, 1937. He served in the Army National Guard and was a member of South Haleyville Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Phillips High School and the University of Alabama Police Academy. Bobby Jack was Superintendent of the Street and Sanitation Department for the City of Haleyville for 30 years, a city council member for 8 years, a member of the Zamora Temple and the Masonic Temple, a charter member of the Free State Shrine Club and received the Green Thumb Award from Winston County. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, Alabama football and family time.
Bobby Jack is survived by his son, Chad Robert (Sherry Lee) Fuller, known as “Paw Paw” to four grandchildren, Derick Thomas-Woods, Dana Borden, Joey Borden and Barry Thomas-Woods, and three great grandchildren, Tristan Borden, Gabe Borden and Sawyer Borden.
Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held Monday, Sept. 23, 2019 at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery, Haleyville.
