Funeral services for Francis “Bud” Paden, 76, of Logan will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Ory Hampton officiating; burial at Emeus Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Paden passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019 at his residence. He was born Dec. 25, 1942 to Carl Samuel and Pauline Paden.
Mr. Paden served our country in the U.S. Navy for four years. After he served, he worked for Con Rail which is now CSX, then worked as a signal inspector with the Federal Railroad Administration, Department of Transportation. He has served his community of Logan as a longtime Logan Fire Department Chief. He is also a member of the Masonic Lodge at Logan. He loved to hunt, fish and most importantly spend time with his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his, parents, brother, Carl R. Paden, and sister, Connie Gambill.
Survivors include his, wife, Mary Paden, sons, Jeff (Teresa) Paden and David (Angel) Paden, daughter, Lori (Rick) Beckhart, granddaughters, Leanne (Julio) Valladares, Whitley (Justin) Davis, Kassady (Ory) Hampton, Katie (Jason) Grandstaff, nine great-grandchildren, and a sister, Cathy Luckey.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
